Volunteer Groups
Our self-organized groups of volunteers are the backbone of our reforestation initiatives. We recruit and train individuals who are passionate about the environment to participate in tree planting days in various regions of Argentina. Through a combination of environmental education and teamwork, we empower our volunteers to become agents of positive change in their communities.
Collaboration with Companies
In addition to our volunteer efforts, we work closely with companies committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Through corporate volunteer programs, we offer employees the opportunity to participate in reforestation activities as part of their commitment to the environment and the community. Planting Process
Site Selection: We identify priority areas for reforestation, taking into account factors such as previous deforestation, local biodiversity, and availability of water and resources.
Site Preparation: We prepare the soil by removing weeds, tilling and adding compost or manure to improve soil quality and facilitate tree growth.
Species Choice: We carefully select the most suitable native tree species for each environment, considering their hardiness, soil and climate requirements, and their contribution to local biodiversity.
Planting:
We gather volunteers at the planting site and provide detailed instructions on how to plant the trees correctly, ensuring a high survival rate.
Each volunteer actively participates in tree planting, following appropriate techniques and respecting the individual needs of each species.
Care and Maintenance:
After planting, we undertake to care for and maintain the trees during their initial growth period, ensuring that they receive sufficient water, nutrients and protection from pests and diseases.
